Well. Where to begin? I lost 50lbs and then tanked. Again. This losing weight thing is a STRUGGLE. I swear if one more skinny person says fat people should just stop putting shit in their mouths I might shove a cheeseburger up their ass. Because, no duh asshole. Easier said than done because food is yummy. YUMMY. In my defense, several factors lined up perfectly for me to start failing again.
My husband had 2 weeks of vacation, consecutively. Two weeks of nothing to do but "let's go get something to eat." that eventually turned into 8 weeks of "I don't give a fuck.". Including "how the fuck do I input this into Lose It!? Guessing calories is even more tedious than inputting my foods. I eventually stopped all together.
My daughter had a baby. A very cranky baby. A baby that I try to help with as much as possible, which meant I was pacing back and forth rocking this tiny human and neglecting the treadmill. It may seem like a lot of back and forth, but it wasn't my usual 3 miles. Not that I could measure it, because I stopped wearing my Fitbit. Sensitive little baby heads do not enjoy hard bulky items attached to Nonni's wrist. It made transitioning him to the crib, changer or his mommy's arms very difficult. I took it off and that too stopped all together.
School is now back in session and we had school clothes to buy. My husband's paid for Dodge Ram was on it's last leg, so he traded for a spanking new GMC Sierra with a spanking new lease payment that took a nice hefty chunk out of our budget. So, I gave up the pricey Plexus Slim drink in order to conserve money. I really truly believe the Plexus worked. At least it gave me the mental push to do more, so I call that a win. Fifty fricken pounds is a BIG win. So haters can suck it.
I really should call it 45 pounds, because I gained 5 back in my relapse. Which I try to say isn't so bad. But if I keep things going as they are now, I'll gain all 50 back by the end of the year. Uhhhh, no thank you! So I logged back in to the Lose It! app. I charged my Fitbit and put it back on. I even ordered another month's worse of Plexus Slim. I haven't gotten back on the treadmill yet though. We'll see. Baby steps, right?
