Today was the first day of school and the first day I've had the house to myself all summer. Therefore I made today the day I was hopping back on the horse with no excuses. Instead of forcing myself or dreading the workout I was excited for it. The minute the music started I was pumped and ready... worried about the punishment my body would give me after weeks of laziness. The warmup was like doing aerobics, and the aerobics? Well... lets just say I did a lot of "go back to the walk in place move if it's too much for you". But that's okay... that's what it was before I got lazy. The floor work, still my favorite! I was even able to do the advanced ab workout. The inner thigh workout barely made me burn. That's today though. Tomorrow might be something different entirely! I did it though and that's what counts.
Having motivation is a terrific tool. On September 6, Brad and I are going to a "prom" put on for us grownups. A bunch of people we know from the Imperial are going so it should be a lot of fun. I bought this really pretty dress online, and the sizing was a smidge confusing. It seemed my top, mid section and bottom are all in different size categories. I was an inch or two off here and there, so I went with the size in between hoping my hips aren't too wide. Also thinking a fat sucker panty would help my situation. Fingers crossed. The dress has been shipped so we'll see! In case you're curious what it looks like http://www.cybernetplaza.com/images/itempics/p804.jpg. I love it! I had a hard time deciding and had it between three until I saw this one. I didn't want a light color, but I didn't want black either. My first three proms were, black then blue then white. Now it's plum. And it'll be the best one yet because there is no teen drama and there is a bar! Yay! Sure it's probably juvenile or lame, but that was my favorite part of being in highschool. I can't wait!
So expect some updates now I have "me" time again!
