I've been using the Metformin (aka Glucophage) for five days now. Have I seen any sort of improvement? Not really. The only thing I've noticed is that when I've eaten something I really shouldn't have, it comes out with a vengence on the other end. Note to self: Don't do that!
The weekend was shot from the moment I got up on Saturday morning and got straight into Brads truck and headed to Sanbornton (it's next to Tilton). I hate, loathe, detest McDonalds. What do we eat for breakfast? McDonalds. I hate that shit and he knows it. He doesn't like Dunkin. Well neither do I but at least they have low fat freakin' muffins. About the only thing lowfat at McDonalds is a straw wrapper! After we were done with the NHRSN business it was 1 or so and he wanted to stop at DQ for ice cream. Ice cream is my kryptonite. Was I gonna say no? Um, no. I ate chocolate soft serve in a waffle cone. It was so good though! Dinner should have been better right? Uh no, not really. Pu Pu for two. Yummy crab rangoons, chicken fingers and chicken wings. Good Lord stop this train now. At least I drank Bacardi Silver and Diet Pepsi all night. Zero carbs, zero cals and they knocked me on my ass. The rest of the night was a blurr.
Sunday was no better as my night of drinking left me super hungry and I ate a ham calzone. Well, half of one because the guilt got to me. Later the Metforman got to me for eating grease. Not good. I've tried really hard to get back on task for this week. Yesterday I ate 2 Greek non fat, high protein yogurts. Which btw the organic Stoneyfield Farm kind? Gross. Fucking gross. I gag 3/4 down before I chuck the rest. It's that 0 fat and 13g of protein that reel me in. But anyways, I ate several handfuls of almonds because almonds are AWESOME. I love them. Dinner came and I ate 2 pieces of BBQ chicken sans skin, 1/8 cup of potato salad from Hannys, and 1/2 cup of italian pasta salad I made. That's all I ate plus I did the ab portion of Gilad. My abs are KILLING me today but I like it because hopefully it means something is going on in my belly area!!!!
I also moved our entire bedroom of heavy ass furniture around. Our bed is a queen made out of solid wood. Even with the mattress and box spring off it's heavy as Hell. But I managed it. It's a good thing I've been working on strengthening my arms! Today has just been more nasty greek yogurt (which btw is yummy if not the Stoneyfield crap. Even their regular yogurt tates like ass!) and sat on the comp all morning. Go me. Me should go and do more floor workout with Gilad. My hips need a trimmin' big time!
